Blinker Issue
I just bought a 93 jimmy 4x4 for $500. It only has 127000, but has a small amount of front end damage. The previous owner hit somthing on the front drivers side. The grille is busted, which I removed completely, the driver side headlight had already been replaced without a mounting bracket using zip ties, and the driver side running light and blinker were busted out. I spliced the passanger side blinker into the running light turning it into a blinker but my drivers side blinker just stays on steadilly when turned on, I have seen the fast blink thing to let you know your blinker is out but I have never seen this. When I turn the blinker on it just stays steady on. Actually the back stays on, the front won't come on at all. I guess the wiring harness must be somehow damaged.
What do I need to do to get the driver side blinker working? |

RE: Blinker Issue
I agree with slammin. It's a common problem with these blazers

RE: Blinker Issue
I'm not to sure about the last 2 posts, but I think you either have your signal light wired wrong, the flasher unit is faulty or you have a bad bulb in the front.
If you take apart the wiring that you did in the left front, will the left rear flash? |
RE: Blinker Issue
The driver blinker was messed up before I messed with the passanger side. The passanger side blinkers work fine front and back, before and after I messed with the wiring. The back driver side blinker lights up but stays on without blinking while the front driver will not come on at all, even after I took the good bulb out of the passanger side and put it in the driver side.

RE: Blinker Issue
It could be any wiring going back to the control relay in the dash area. I would check that control relay out.
