blower motor gone?
 

hello everyone i have a 97 blazer 4x4 and lately the blower has been going on and off and just yesterday it wont blow any air at all. i checked all the connections today and switched some of the resistor packs around to see if that would help but nothing. i still get hot air coming through the vents once the truck is warmed up but i cant use the blower. could it be the blower motor be on its way out or what? and how hard is it to replace one and how much for it. i live in MA and its going to get colder pretty soon so i would like to fix it before its too cold and i'm freezing my nuts off. any help would be appreciated. thanks

you can always connect a 12v source directly to the motor terminals to see if its a blower motor problem or if its an electrical problem elsewhere...

they arent very expensive and not very difficult to change.
