When started my truck today, I noticed that "cal" was listed just to the bottom left of the compass reading. I assume that "cal" stands for calibrate. After driving for a while, it did not go away. I remember reading in one of the forums here, to re-calibrate, drive in a tight circle 3 times. I did this and the "cal" went away. Do any of you know what caused this or if it just happens every now & then.

never had that come up on mine, but I have had it say ICE when its 45 out.

 

Where you parking near something large and metalic? Someimes when I pull out of my pole barn it will display the same "CAL."
The next few starting cycles should reset it.
