Code help

Can anyone tell me what a p0449 code stands for and what I need to do to get rid of it I have an 03 Blazer someone told a a purge solenoid, but I dont know what that is

im looking at a list of codes and i dont see po449 but a couple of the PO440's(1-6) are the evaporative emissions control system(evap) and so are PO452-453

PO449 is Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Canister Vent Valve. The valve is under the back of the truck. I f your spare is mounted under the truck, you will have to remove the tire to see the valve. See if the wire connector is tight, check for dirt around the valve.
