EGR VALVE LOCATION

Hey evryone,
I was advice by a mechanicly inclined friend, that I should clean my EGR valve. Does anyone know the exact location? Any precautions i need to know about? How to clean it? Does anyone have any pics of it?

RE: EGR VALVE LOCATION

I recently replaced my EGR valve (among other things) and here is a picture I took before I got started. I took off the whole upper plenum, so it was easy to get to after that. I'm not sure if you can get to it with taking off the upper plenum. The EGR valve is wedged down in there pretty good.

You will want to have a new gasket on hand. And you should be able to use any sensor safe carb cleaner.
