How do you test the Ignition Control Module (ICM)

Can anyone tell me step by step how to test the ICM? (ignition control module)

Also what ways are there to clear a flooded engine?

Most of the time the ICM doesn't go bad all at once. It usually will not start after the car/truck is at normal running temperature and is shut off. After it cools down it will start and so on and so on. I'm betting it's not your problem. A flooded engine will evaporate the extra fuel on it's own in a day or so at most. You should really get that towed to a pro. Otherwise you are going to keep spending more and more money on things you don't need.

Thanks alot for the advice. I appreciate it. The car just shut off on me while i was driving and I found the fuel pump relay, i think the relay is still good, but the connecter was burnt up and melted. I bypassed the wires, and I tried starting it. No luck. I then tried some starting fluid and again no luck. I pulled out the plugs and found them to be very wet, i assumed it to be flooded. I dont know what it could be. I should take it to a pro to have it diagnosed. I cant afford to spend to much on it. what a PITA. I called my uncle who was a mechanic for 25 years and hes gonna come by tomorrow and have a look. I'll keep updated. If anyone has any advice or ideas let me know. Appreciate it big time.

Well it sounds like you might have a short in the wire harness in the fuel pump system. Did you check the wires back to the tank and the pump, sometimes the connector at the tank get loose.
