Leaking Transmisson Fluild

I got a 2000 Blazer 4 Door 4x4 auto transmisson. I am leaking a lot of transmisson fluid near where the trasnmisson dipstick tube goes into the tansmisson, I cant tell wheter it is the whole tranmisson gasket, or the little rubber seal where the dipstick tube meets the transmisson. Has this happened to anybody, or do you know if this is a common problem. Any Suggestions of what I should do?

RE: Leaking Transmisson Fluild

Welcome to the site! first you need to find out EXACTLY what is leaking. It is probably on of the transmission line fittings. Both of the lines attatch to the trans in that general area (just above and behind the dipstick tube). It could be the dipstick tube seal or the pan gasket. But , like I said, you need to identify EXACTLY where it is coming from before I can give you any real advice.
