What did you gap the spark plugs at?
I keep coming back to several things as I read your posts.
Spark, gap incorect.
Vacuum line has a hole in it, specifically near the intake.
Plugged fuel filter or impurities in gas.
Do you know if the engine was timed with or without the distriburator wire connected?

Thanks to all who gave advice. I am now up and running. It was the electronic spark control module. Replaced it and was scared to turn the key because of previous failed attempts. Got the courage up and with a little tweaking here and there, RUNS GREAT !!!
