oil cooler lines -- where to get?

My oil cooler lines started to leak and I need to replace them. I thought i read somewhere to only buy oem parts. I called the local dealer, and they want $166.99 for the set. I called napa and they want $58.29. Is there that big of a difference? Or i have noticed oem ones on ebay for sale around $55?

Is there a big difference in the quality? any other suggestions on where to get them?

Thanks!

The lines themselves leaking? or at where they clamp. See if your Napa can get you steel braded ones. I know th eone by me makes custom lines.

where they clamp is where they are leaking from. I called napa back and they do not make lines. I'm in a smaller town with limited options :(

If the leak is only at the oil filter relocator, replace the clamps with radiator clamps, (worm style,) of that size. Check under the Blazer to see if the other end of the oil filter relocator is leaking too. Might as well get it all in one repair.

What year was the truck, you didn't say. Click here for a link to ebay for a buy it now. Hope that helps.

it is a 95 blazer 4x4.

I just took another look at the oil lines. There are two lines that travel from the radiator down below the fan shrowd(sp?). Those have oil on them near the fan, but not at the radiator. Also the oil lines that come off the oil filter assembly have oil slowly dripping off them. Are these two different hoses, or all part of one system?

They may go to the oil cooler. If its for the engine. Hmm. Is it for the motor or the tranny? Tomorrow I'll have to looky see.

I do remember that my oil line to the relocator is a press/crimped fit from the supplier. The clamp idea may not work then.

Is it leaking that bad? I had some sepage on my '98 when I had it. Not enough to leave a puddle or anything.

the seepage is not bad, but is progressivly getting worse. first it started off a little oil on the lines, then it dripped a little on the oil filter access door, and now it leaves a quarter size spot on the ground in about a 24 hour period. This all progressed within the period of a month.

your idea with the clamp made me go out and take a second look and thats how i discovered the second lines. I can't tell how it is all setup though because the cover undreneath is blocking my view. and it is cold outside so i can't take it off very easily.

Probably dark too. Might be easier to get it on ramps. Remove the black cover, I think it was 4 or 6 screws. follow where the lines go.
Where the lines already crimped?
