RE: raising torsion bar

towards the back of the bar is an adjusting nut/bolt. first thing is count the amount of thread each have showing, mark down or remember how many on each side. then measure the vehicles ride hieght on each side, from equal points on the frame to the ground. if one side sits higher or lower then adjust the screw accordingly until its level. you may have do this a few times to get it right. its also important to rock the truck back and forth and bounce the front end to really settle the suspension and get a true reading. now if you need to raise your height and the truck is level, you can simplify this method by turning each nut the same amount of threads double checking ground clearance in between each set of turns.

only crank alittle at atime, and then cross check ur height. the less u gotta change the better, alot of time being in the undercarriage causes these nuts/threads to rust up. so hit them up with some wd-40 before you proceed, the last thing you want is to snap them threads.
