i got lots of rust on the front fenders, bumper and doors what is the easiest way to fix it. And my blazer is a 94 how do i recharge my ac.

 

I would just go and get what you need from your local junk yard.

 

NAPA sells fenders for about $80 each. They come primered and I believe NAPA also sells the matching paints you would need.

 

if you can find decent stuff at a junkyard that is the way to go. stock parts fit so much better than aftermarket its unbelieveable.



doors, my advice is to make sure the drain holes in the bottoms of the doors are not plugged up causing the water to sit in the door and rust from the inside out. replace window scrapers if necessary. then get a can of masterseries paint (www.masterseriesct.com). grind down the rust, paint with masterseries, then go about doing the normal bodywork stuff (bondo, sand, paint). do not just use any old primer or try to bondo right over the rust, this does NOT work. you need to seal the rust with masterseries or por-15. i prefer masterseries because its easier to work with IMHO. por-15 might be easier to find in your local hardware store though.

fenders and bumpers are throwaway parts IMHO and arent worth fixing, but you can take this route with them as well. but its less aggrivating if you can find a nice set of fenders at the junkyard and just bolt them on.
