Seafoam
I have been reading a lot on the forum here about Seafoam. Why do you have to replace the spark plugs after doing this? I just changed my spark plugs about 3 weeks ago, would I still need to replace them if I used Seafoam.
Thanks, Dion |
RE: Seafoam
If you just replaced them, you should atleast pull them and check to make sure that they are still clean. The problem is that when you seafoam the engine, the seafoam loosens up much of the carbon that has accumulated throughout the intake and combustion chambers. The chance of fouling a plug with carbon is very high especially on older plugs.
I always do a seafoam right before changing the plugs. Good luck |
