ORIGINAL: 4lowlife

Drive w/ a small gas can with you.

You can get a 2.5 gallon gas can and draw little eyes and a mouth on it.
And then call him 4lowlife and kick it around when you're having a bad day.
now why on earth would I want to kick you around??? hmm???? I'd take that can..and hug it..and squeeze it..and love it...and take care of it......LOL!!!!!

thanks Hanr3....I have been doing that....it seems to be only the beginging...I drove like almost 1500 miles in two days....and it seemed to pick and choose as to when it worked....but.....I do know I get about 19-20 miles a gallon....and being up in the middle of no where...I never go anywhere with out at least a half a tank....the closest gas station is like 17 miles away....so I have been setting the trip....even if I put like 20 dollars in.....thanks you guys!!!!!!!

probably fuel sending unit, mine gas gauge was all screwed up too and the dealership replaced the sending unit under warranty and problem solved.

I realize its not possible for this to happen to anyone but me. BUT, I have to tell this story again anyway. A piece of wood floating around in the gas tank. In our case, too large to have been placed in there throught the neck. Had to have been placed in there when tank was down some other time. We had to replace pump and found it. But you should have seen the gas indicator from time to time.
