My wipers stop about half-way when turn them to off. I can manually push them down, but is there an adjustment so they will stop at the bottom on their own? I am not very mechanically minded either.

 

It would be helpful to know what year blazer you have.
Assuming you have a newer model blazer, the problem is probably a malfunctioning wiper motor module.
I don't know how to repair the electrical circuits, but the module can be replaced
