Hey, I’m new to the GMC/Chevy Jimmy/Blazer field and I have bought a 1994 Jimmy and it has some engine problems but I bought it because it was an upgrade from a non running 84 f350 I have very little knowledge on the 4.3l vortec engine.

THE PROBLEMS

• When I turn it over it starts to die out and come back while the oil pressure gauge goes up and down it fixes itself somewhat when I take the tps sensor out for a few seconds and put it back in after a bit it will continue the ruff idle
• when I depress the throttle it will bog and stay at 10 mph before I had put new spark plugs and wires in it I had to bog it and let off fully and then it would go into second gear
• the guy I bought it off of said he put sea foam in it to clean the injectors and I think the cat might be clogged
• it sounds like there’s a vacuum leak on the intake I will have a video
• the breaks let’s out air loud and you would have to depress it with all your strength and after a bit it will go to the floor
