hey i got 2.25 pipes i think all blazers 98-03 have 2.25 stock and anyways i had the flowmaster 40 was ok but not loud enough so i bought a flowmaster super 44 got that welded on along with a tip and i must say i love it. It dose not have much interior noise at all i actually thought it sucked until i opened my window and heard it. Heres i vid i shot yesterday of me playing in the snow you can here the muffler good

Honestly if you want a good muffler get a dynomax ultra flow flowmasters despite the name are one of the lowest flow rate mufflers out there.

well, its merely a V shaped baffle....the cat has waaaayyyy more restriction.....and then theres the argument that "some" back pressure is beneficial....

I just had a Dynomax SuperTurbo installed yesterday with 2.5"pipe. I like it. Low and mellow. Not loud and raspy like some I've heard. Plus it will only get better as it burns in.

Yeah I've got the Dynomax and it's sounding better the longer I've had it. My cat is gone and I've got 2.5" single pipe dynomax setup. Pretty mellow if you ask me.

sorry dieseladdict, i didnt see your question until today
well that is not my blazer, but it says in the description that it is all stock except the muffler
so 2.25in pipes, single outlet
and as for the cab noise i have no idea, but im planning on getting one, or a glasspack
