Default ceramic vs. chrome plated headers

I'm looking at getting a set of JBA Headers and i was wondering if ceramic headers are better performance-wise than chrome plated. they seem to cost a bit more and im on a pretty strict budget. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Default RE: ceramic vs. chrome plated headers

chrome is cosmetic, ceramic is performance. the ceramic coating keeps the heat in the exhaust. sounds deceptive, but hot air moves fater than cold air, so the hotter you can keep the exhaust gas the faster it will flow away from the engine and the better it will flow.
is it worth the price difference? thats for you to decide...
