Cheap exhaust? HELP MEH!
ok yall, i got a 99 blaze 4dr 4x4. im lookin for a cheap way to get some sound... i live in florida so no emissions STUFF lol... i was thinking about removing the cat? or the resonator if its even got one XD... idk guys, i had a buddy with an old ford with a straight 6 he cut everything but his cats out and it was a little too loud for me but im ok with that TRACTOR sound lol... as long as im not breaking windows. Any ideas? thanks! please help me out haha, i do a little Muddn from time to well ALL the time and its not near as satisfying with a stock perrrr!
Sorry if this is in the wrong section I didnt know were to post it :icon_nic: |
throw a glasspack and youll be set. I have a flowmaster 40 series with a high flow cat and and a K&N intake. Everyone asks me if i have a V8 when i pull up to gas stations.

awesome man thanks! The stock perr really started to get to me haha!

I personally don't like glasspacks but summit has some cheap cheap cheap universal mufflers...
http://www.summitracing.com/search/p...rder=Ascending I like flowmaster personally. You can save money if you get someone to just swap the muffler, unless you can weld, then you can obviously save the price of labor altogether...just saying... |
I can weld but i Only have a stick welder, couldnt i use clamps?

Yeah go with a flowmaster 40 series. You can search Youtube for some different muffler set ups on the 4.3. My cat was rattling so replaced with a catco universal cat. Ive considering doing a true dual setup though not sure howd it would work out.

Clamps work. All I have on my blazer is a thrush high flow muffler and a tip down out of The muffler. Sounds really good with out disturbing The cab on long trips

Talking about removing the cat its prohibited on here, per forum rules.

im just gunna pipe it and call it a day lol
