Magnaflow Catalyst Help
Has anyone installed a Magnaflow Y pipe and cat on a ZR2? If so did it hamg down lower?
I have a 2001 ZR2 that I have removed the Y pipe. I laid them side by side and it appears the Magna section from the collectors to the cat is about 2 inches lower. I haven't bolted it in yet.
i also have Pacesetter shorty headers.
Thanks

82 views but no answers so I had better put out what I found.
Even Magnaflow had no clue on how their Y pipe compared to stock. They use longer radius bend so the front hangs down a little further than stock. It's still inside the frame and the connections wind up close to the stock locations.
If you lay them out side by side you'll a notice difference but once it;'s in you won't.
