Default Exaust HP gain?

Hello...

Im doing a Y-pipe back system...Getting rid of the Pre cat, Cat, and stock muffler. I will be comming in with a 2.5" to 3" reducer that is 12" long, then 3" all the way with a 3" Dynomax turbo muffler.

My question is before i do this, what kind of a HP/TQ/MPG increase can i see realistically. Alot of the Dynomax adds say 25 HP with a 2MPG increase with a Cat back system...and this is more then a cat back system, and also you can never believe those adds 100%...

any thoughts? before i go through with this

Keep it legal and keep your cat.

Wow... There is without a doubt some power there that their wasn't before...

If i do not doubt that i gained 25 horsepower...although i think that it was more recovering lost horsepower then adding to the original power...

I don't think i gained anything with the 3" pipe though...that stuffs beast...would recommend 2.5 for anyone else doing an aftermarket exhaust.

Working on some pictures of the build, and then finished product...also a mileage report.
