Default Fuel injection to carb

ive got an 02 blazer 4x4 and I take it off-roading every once in awhile because that’s what I like to do and it’s also my daily. Everytime I go out, my tps get ruined for some reason and I do have a lifetime warranty on the one I just recently purchased but I was thinking if it would be worth it to switch to a carb and get rid of that throttle position sensor and computer stuff or even if it is possible.

I'm no expert on such swaps but I wonder if it would not be worth with respect to ease and cost to first try the installation of the highest quality TPS you can find. Lifetime warranties are great but only if you don't have to keep replacing the part.

What is the failure mechanism? Is it something addressable by modifying the TPS? You might try playing with modifying the TPS since to get another will cost you nothing except the hassle of possibly replacing it again.

I'm curious why the TPS would be ruined everytime you offroad? It seems like there maybe something else might need be fixed or done to protect it?
