i'm not 100% familier with glasspacks, but i know mostly people with V8's use them, i think for a 4.3 blazer a nice flowmaster exhaust would sound really nice, i'd amagine it'd sound even better than a 3.8L camaro w/ a flowmaster, annd they sound mean.

well i would say most likely the flowmaster will be really nice ive heard a gibson on a newer dodge dakota v6 and it sounded like junk. i would also say that glass packs have always been used on v8s i wouldnt advise them...but then again i saw a mexican a taco bell with a lowered silverado with a single fart can on the back so who knows ahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahhaha

Well, I bought my Chevelle with Thrush Glasspak mufflers on it. It would bark. The problem with glasspaks are that they wear out with time. The outside of the barrel is filled with fiberglass. As you use your vehicle, the glass gets blown out. The tone was nice with the glasspak, but when you would let off the throttle from higher rpms, it would crackle down which I did not desire. This crackle down got worse as the mufflers aged. They lasted me less than 1 year and they were new when I purchased the car.

Now my Chevelle has Flowmaster 40 series mufflers and I must say that the tone is much more mellow, but also MUCH deeper. I loved it in HS cause I could set off oversensitive car alarm systems just by tweaking the throttle before turning off the engine. I would show up to school late just for that reason! LOL.

I would definitely vote for the Flowmaster.
