What do you guys think of glasspacks on blazers? Do they sound ok? To loud? There so much cheaper than the mufflers i want.

glasspacks shouldn't be on anything but a healthy V8. 4s and 6s just sound wrong if you put a louder exhaust on. Just my opinion though...

There not too loud and they sound ok.I have actualy heard one on a motorcycle and Im considering putting one on mine.Theres a video clip on here somewhere that someone made and has different sounds from different kinds of mufflers on a Blazer.Maybe you can search and find it or someone will dig it up out of the archives

My exaust is off my jimmy except the Y pipe.A red glasspack would match the exterior color RED.I maybe inspired to use one myself, they are cheaper than flowmaster

I had one on my cavalier because the muffler would rot of every year
Old neighbor commented that she knew exactly what time it was every morning because she heard my car start when I left for work LOL

I put a THRUSH glasspack on my blazer about 3 weeks ago. since then the truck has been over a thousand miles and i think it's pretty well broken in, i like the sound of it. i didn't change anything out except the muffler, they are really quiet at idle, but still have the throaty sound, while driving at about 45 or 50 they start to really sound like a v6, though they still aren't very loud. It's a good 20-30 dollar investment, i would reccomend it if you don't want to put a hole in your wallet.
