i just put on my AEM intake and the mass air flow sensor, but my car sounds like its tryin to stay running. and then when i put it into drive or reverse, its sounds like it wants to shut off. and then wen i step on the gas it doesnt go!!! all i hear is a big CLANK CLANK and it will start to run but really bad. but once i get up to speed it runs great. whats the problem??? please help me out!!!

 

fuel filter when have u changed it

 

check for any loose hoses, wires, etc. under the hood.

 

now that i think about it, i have never changed the fuel filter since i hav owned my car. thats almost 2 years. i had a frined tell me that my timing could be off, could that pose a problem 2??? i just dont see how it could do that with a new MAFS, since it runs decently with the bad MAFS.
