I think you should give it a shot drperry. I would go with a stainless Magnaflow since you do a lot of mudding. I plan to put one on my '05' with the Magnaflow muffler I already have set up. Let me know what you decide.

Im going to put a full exhaust on when I lay my blaze all the rest of the way out!! I have to wait till then cause I have to tuck it up as far as I can!!

The cat adds a lot of quiet to the system 
I use my truck occaisionally for work, so I can't have it too loud...
