High flow CAT suggestions?

Okay so I'm doing My exhaust in the coming months. I've put a K&N high flow drop in filter for the stock intake box and punched out most of the MAF sensor screen. All thats left is to get my cat back straight pipes at 2.5" and a high flow CAT installed but I'm not sure which way to go for the CAT. I was hoping someone here might have some experience with what the better options are on a budget without going for a magnaflow/flowmaster. Thanks in advance for the replies. Its a 98 s10 sls jimmy with the 4.3 v6.

Why did you do that part?

I've read around the forum and supposedly it helps improve airflow. If something funky starts going on ill still have the one from a parts truck anyways so I figured id see if it makes a difference or not.

I have a Flowmaster hi flow cat (2220125), 2 1/2 in and out, you can have if it will fit your app. Just pay for shipping. I was going to put it on my 02 ZR2 Blazer but sold it first.

I've read that the stock exhaust diameter is 2.25, would it still weld up clean? If so I'm definitely interested.
