Thanks for the reply, do you have any advice on how to check on that problem. The issue is very sporadic. Im not sure if that makes a difference. Since replacing the cat it has been somewhat better. Its hard to determine b/c sometimes it accelerates just fine. Thanks

Without any codes, it would just be a guess... I would look at having the coil and ICM tested to make sure they are working properly. Most autoparts stores can do this at no charge. Have them test them 10+ times in rapid succession to really get them up to temp.

sorry about all the threads, i thought it would be a better way of finding a solution.

Definitely try Kyle's advice. He was spot on with my gf's Galant the other day. After that if its still an issue, as I said in your other thread, maybe see if the 02 sensor is gunked up. I had to do this on my Firebird, so I assume since that is a GM also, that the method would be the same. I haven't had to try this on my Blazer so IDK if it is infact the same process, but anyways- unscrew the sensor, take a clean paper towel or an old shirt thats clean (thats what I did) and just wipe everything down and get off as much dirt as possible. Re-install sensor and see if it helps any. Do this to the pre-cat's and main cat's 02 sensors. I noticed my Firebird ran smoother after I cleaned its sensor.
