Replacement Muffler for 96 S-10

Hey I'm new to the forum,
I need a replacement OEM muffler for my Blazer. Does anyone know where to get one? My Tailpipe is still very good I need just the muffler, GM and Chevrolet sell it with a new tailpipe attached, does anyone know where I can get just the muffler without the tailpipe?
I have a 96, 4x4, 4-door, S-10 Chevy Blazer.

Thanks in advance

Ken

I can give you an estimate. I just had my muffler and exhaust pipe replaced (Cat-back) at Midas Muffler and it cost me $287. However, the price for the muffler alone was quoted to me at $130. (Tax/labor included)
Not that it probably makes a difference....my vehicle is a 94 S-10 Blazer 4x4!:icon_dunce:

I live in a quiet neighborhood and would prefer to not alert everyone when I'm coming or going with a loud exhaust! To each his own!

Aftermarket does not have to mean loud. There are plenty of aftermarket mufflers that have a full, deep tone without being much louder than the nearly silent factory refrigerator size muffler.

Thank you for the reply's! I have since found a few places where I can get a muffler. While I have nothing personally against loud muffler, I prefer a quite one since I do a lot of driving where most people prefer a quite muffler, also if I want a noisier muffler why go to the trouble of changing it at all? Jk, Lol.
