2" body Lift Recomendations
 

Just wanted some people's opinions on good body lifts...the one below is priced pretty well, but wondering if anyone else has any good suggestions that come with Front and rear bumper brackets like the link below....also wondering if anyone has used this exact one and if so how do you like it...?

the PA kit in your link seems to be the most popular and i dont think that price is bad at all. if your looking for a cheaper kit(price wise) you could always check out ebay.

no intentions of hijacking... but you lose towing abilities through the rear bumper with this... and how is the air intake and the exhaust affected? Also does anyone have pictures of the rear bumper before and after? as in what happens to change the "towability"

If you are going to tow anything..I would recommend you buy a class III hitch that attaches to the frame instead of towing with the bumper. Since the hitch ball can be used at a lower height.

if your running the stock intake youll be fine, but if you have an aftermarket intake youll have to mod a few of the mounting points of the intake ive also ever heard of anyone haveing to mod there exhaust to fit the bodylift. as far as the towing aspect goes i personally wouldnt trust bumper towing to begin with, but the brackets included with the kit raise the bumper up 2" to match the body and in doing so the bumper is no longer connected directly to the frame there for reducing towing capabilities or losing them all together. if you still want to be able to tow youll have to add a standard hitch the connects directly to the frame, but i beleive this will require some modifications.

if you dont have a hitch get a class II. Class III hitches require some heavy modifying of the hitch. I think someone on here did it. I think the had to weld the hitch to the frame

Also i didnt have to modify the exhaust in anyway.

Well I do have a hitch already (from factory)... I really dont plan on towing anything at the moment... but My dad has an old speed boat and our van is on the fritz

depending upon how big the boat is you should be fine.
