35s and backspacing

first yes i know there is a search button but its not always helpful. second i have a 94 jimmy slt with the cpi. i currently am running stock 4x4 rims with 33x11.5xr15 tsl thornbirds. have a 2inch body lift, tbar crank 2inch shackles, SOA, and trailmaster 5inch suspension lift. rear end and front diff have been regeared. i am wanting to run a set of bfg mud terrains, 35x12.5xr15 on a 4inch backspace rim. what problems am i going to have? should i stick with a 4.5inch backspacing? thanks

My boy has a 98 blazer on 34's and running a 4.25 back space. I know on the second gens it will just require some trimming of the fenders.

thanks. i already trimmed before to fit the 33s so hopefully it will work nicely with the 35s.

I was thinking of running 35's but after much research it's a bad idea for stock axles. Depends on the cops in your area and how picky they are with the tires sticking out I guess.

with the thornbirds they already stick out 2 inches past the plastic flares. i took a flat pice of plastic and just made a lip to stick out as far as the tires. not the prettiest but it beats the cops. i got a company that say they can make me some custom ones once im finished but its not going to be cheap
