ball joints

found this tonight welli was looking up some things im donig up my old blazer strickly offroad and im thinking that im going to try this out unless someone has a good reason not to im not worried about wear and tear im going to make my own stearing linkage so theres no worries there ether. sounds like it should work fine to me there torsion bars up front too, it is late i might be missing something though...

It won't work. The reason that works on the 4runner is because the torsion bar connects to the upper control arm. Putting a spacer on the upper ball joint will only serve to push the upper control arm further up in the air and would not give any lift.

And since the lower ball joint goes down through the steering knuckle and space is VERY limited, you cannot add a spacer down there either.
