Default blazer 98 z44 ?

Hey guys. I have been looking on the internet for what the z44 mean on my blazer ? I do not find anything. I do know that the z usully as some to do with suspension. Any help would nice.

according to RPOCODES.com z-44 dont exist, but that would look real cool though on the rear of the truck instead of the ZR-2 lable, have Z-44

Thank you for taking the time guys. It does look cool the badge z-44 on the back , the hood and also embroded in the 2 front seat . It is a black 4 doors.

Only z44 rpo code I see is for the 427 in the new corvettes. Don't see how that comes to play with a s-series.

I do however find it weird that the few z40 codes listed deal with canada conversions so it might be something I don't have listed in my us code source.
Z41 : CONVERSION OPTION, CANADIAN PONTIAC
Z47 : CONVERSION OPTION, CANADIAN CHEVROLET
Z49 : EXPORT CANADIAN MODIFICATION MANDATORY BASE EOUIPMENT

Got any pics of these badges? Does it have z44 listed in the rpo sticker in the glovebox? Ill try looking into it more.

sorry about the time it as been. There are some pics of the truck. Keep mind that this truck spends more time on gravel road than black top and winter is rough out here, hope this explain the poor paint condition.
