BLazer control arms to tahoe contol arms?

is it possible to swap out my 2002 chevy blazer control arms to chevy tahoe or saburban upper and lower control arms?

Absolutely!

the easiest route would be trading in the blazer for a tahoe.

well i want the control arms from the tahoe on the blazer because there longer and beefier. i think it would give me a wider stance in front

You will need longer CV shafts, have you planned for that?

If im not mistaken...the fullsizes use the same 7.2" IFS front diff...just they use the fullsize CVs and control arms. So...it should work? But the problem you will have is the steering. The geometry with the frame mounts is not set up for the wider stance...I don't even think the links will all work right...

How much wider stance are you trying to get? Spacers are much cheaper, easier, and less wild of a swap than fullsize front suspension brackets. And as far as teh beef...I've never once seen a Blazer with tweaked or broken control arms. I've seen the frame crack or rip where the control arm attaches to the frame though...and that problem will only be multiplied with longer A-arms..

Id say just SFA it if you want beef.

If you'd like, I can do some measuring on my '04 Tahoe. I'm going to venture a guess that the attachment points will be further apart.

The fullsize trucks use the 8.25" IFS front axle, not the 7.2".

Hrm I dunno what I was thinkin...something about H3s and hummers and fullsize chassis...haha erroneous on all accounts!
