Cheap lift
I have a 98 blazer and I have a set of 31x10.50s bfgs wrapped around crugar -12 mm offset wheels I want put on it. will lifting the torsion bars and putting a 2 inch shackle lift look right and be able to turn I'm ok with a little rub
|
I'm not sure but a 2 inch body lift would fit 31s
|
I have a 2.5" rouch country lift with 31" bfg and I had to do some decent trimming in order for me to turn without major rubbing. To be safe id go with a body lift and tweak the torsion bars up a little. not to much or it will cause front end wear!

Most people need more than just a t-bar lift to clear 31's safely, especially if they're on low backspace rims. Like KO-King said, a t-bar lift, shackles in the rear, and a body lift should clear 31's fine. I did 31's like that for quite a while before I went up to 32's and had to start chopping my fenders.

I run 30s on stock rims with a tbar crank, stock otherwise and i dont rub until full lock. Ive got room too so im sure i could run 31s with no problems as is

Just out of curiosity. All the 2nd Gen S Blazer and Jimmy were push button 4wd right? So when adding a body lift...you aren't fighting the t-case shifter on the floor, fan shroud, and brake lines.
I base my question on owning a couple 1st gen GMC S-pickups in the past. |
You still have to mess with the shroud and brake lines a bit. t case stuff no
|
I've also got a '98 Blazer and currently running 31's on my stock wheels and only time it rubs and its only SOMETIMES, it at full lock. I'm running at stock height with no adjust on the t-bar.
