Fab Tech lift kits
Has anyone heard of a 8" suspension kit from fabtech for ZR2 blazers? I talked to a guy at a offroad shop who said they make them. Andif so how much do they cost?

RE: Fab Tech lift kits
Erroneous. The only thing Fabtech makes for s-series is 2' lift shackles. They don't even have 8' kits for anything chevy until the 01+ 2500s..
Why do you want that much lift? What kind of tires do you want to run? |
RE: Fab Tech lift kits
I used to drive a k5 blazer on 44" boggers so i like going big. Im trying to decide whether i want to get a 6" suspension and 2" bl with 35's or to go big with a straight axle swap and 40" tires. what do you think?

RE: Fab Tech lift kits
Well if you want big go SFA... you are limited with the IFS.

RE: Fab Tech lift kits
You'll be hard pressed to clear 35s even with that lift. With a SFA you're much better off running the bigger tires, but you better swap out and upgrade the rear axle as well. Stock anything will not take a 40' tire.

RE: Fab Tech lift kits
Are you sure he said FABTECH and not FABRITECH? As far as I know, they made the kits for lift shops and didn't sell them to the general public. I don't even know if they're made anymore.

RE: Fab Tech lift kits
That would be a sweet kit though. Gotta cost a WHOLE lot to be bolt on 4 link with all those goodies. The axle would be the cheapest part:D

RE: Fab Tech lift kits
ya that straight axle conversion kit looks pretty cool. its probably more practical to run 35's but i know im going to want more. I tred to put a pic of my k5 on here but dont know how so check it out on youtube.
