Hello I am new here and this is my first post... Is there any advantages of having a 4dr rather than a 2dr if Im going to lift it? I see some lifted rigs 2dr and some 4dr. I wasnt sure if there was some advantage or what. Thank You.

I believe the wheel base's are different, making the 2dr a little more capable as far as a trail-rig will go. If you're not wheeling hard, a 4dr will do you just fine. Even stock these trucks are pretty capable. I personally like the 4dr for the versatility. not having the climb thru the front seat to get in the back is a plus in my book. But, DKSDAD is pretty spot on, really depends on your personal taste, they both have pros and cons.

I do like my car versatile and it should be convenient to climb in and out. So for me it´s always a 4dr. Unless you´re looking for a fun vehicle...

I went with a 2dr because I don't have kids and I hate giving people rides. If someones going to ride with me and use up my gas then I say screw it, make them uncomfortable and climb in and out of the back.
