gen 1 s10 and blazers lifted

Wondering if anyone has a first gen with either a 2 inch tweak and shackle, or the 2.5" rough country lift on. No body lifts, just suspension. I got my wife talked into letting me buy the rough country kit out of our income tax return as well as the rest of the parts to rebuild the front end. Thanks all.

I have a 1.5 tbar crank and 2 inch shackle lift with 31s. I have a lot of pictures throughout the forum and my build thread.

Someday I plan to add a body lift to her.

I've thought about doing a tbar and shackled lift, but until I replace all 4 ball joints and I wouldn't mind replacing all the bushings with poly bushings, I may as well spend a little more money and get a little more lift. Your blazer has served as some inspiration in my wanting to lift mine. Looks beefy with the 31's on it, that's for sure!

thank you I cant wait to see yours :D

Mine had the 1.5/2 t-bar/shackle lift forever. When I swapped out the wore out body bushings I got a free 1 inch lift, lol. I then messed up and put the 3 inch lift on it and kept wanting more. Now after one sfa i'm redoing the axles.

A sas would be nice... And maybe when my kids are tall enough to get into a jacked up ride, I'll go that route, but until then, I can only do something small. Mine won't get done for awhile yet, I'm sure. Just cuz I have my old lady talked into it dosn't mean it'll happen right away. I'd really like to do a sas with a HP Dana 44 narrowed to use waggy axle shafts and a rough country long arm kit for an xj, but not anytime soon.

If i was doing it for kids I would have done it to a 4 door instead. I only got one and he hasnt had any problems getting in or out of it since he was 3 (5 now).

My 4 year old refuses to be helped in and out of my blazer. She's bullheaded like her mom, but its quite the stretch for her at stock height. **** it. I'm going with 6" rough country lift when they finally release it and she can use a step stool.
