Lift rides really bad
This isn't exactly Blazer related, but the truck in question has the same suspension package as the fullsize Blazer...
Me andDadjust put a lift and some new BFGs on his truck last night. 3" block in the rear and a t-bar crank for the front. When we took it out for a spin, it drove really bad, worse than the Jeep. The steering characteristics are pretty much the same as before except the front end is much harder than before, and when you hit a bump... well you can imagine. Anyway, is there a way to soften the front any? I turned the T-bars out a half turn and its much better, but its still a beast, and thefront of the truck is too low. I want some advice before we go get a body lift to replace the suspension lift Edit* truck is a 1996 Chevy Silverado K1500 P/U |
RE: Lift rides really bad
Cranking the t-bars = rougher ride.
Really, that's the long and short of it. You could spend a lot of $$ on some quality shocks, but they're only going to help a little bit. If having a smooth ride matters a lot, you'll either want a full suspension lift (drop brackets for the front), or just a body lift. |

^^^^^^ was gonna say the same thing butJigg beat me to it. I can even tell ya that Dale is a little more beastly since the t-bar crank. New shocks helped a little bit as i wasnt maxing my shocks anymorebut in the situation you are in its probably best to get a body lift or drop brackets.

Could you pop me a link to a good lift bracket?
