Default Lifted camber keeps slipping

Ok...i searched a little but didnt find what i was looking for.
I have had the lift on now for a year (bds 5 inch).... i love it..dont get me wrong.
i have noticed that my camber has slipped out 2 times now...in that time.
i do about 100-200 miles a week max...almost all road driving..yes pavement queen.
is this just something i need to live with and maintain like a tire rotation? Or am i missing something. When adjusted the camber is fine...i have marked it so i am not shelling out for alignments again and again. I dont want to over torque the camber bolts...but at same time i am now paranoid that this is gonna wreck my suspension and chew up my tires. I am a routine maint freak so i catch most everything...i just find this odd.

Any input would be great...thanks guys.

You really only have two options:

1) Replace the bolts and nuts. After numerous times of being torqued over and over again, they start to slip.

2) Put a tack weld on the washers after an alignment to hold them in place.

i think a tack weld would work just fine

when ever you need to remove them just grind the tack weld off or cut the bolt
then replace with new ones

what I did was got my blazer aligned every couple weeks... I have unlimited alignments at ntb, but it still takes an hour out of your day.. I've only had to get my 4runner aligned once and that was right after I lifted it

I dont really have an issue with mine unless i go offroad. After every wheeling trip it always needs to be re aligned. When i align it i always get the cam bolts good and tights. So i would just try tightening them more. I use an impact on mine

Thanks for the pointers guys.
The cam bolts are all new...i will try torquing them some more...then all else fails a tack here and there will do.
I am just glad i am not the only who has had this exp.
I guess riding high has its p.i.t.a. moments.

When I had my BDS, the shop that Mike Copeland owns "Diversified Creations," sent me to his buddy that specializes in lifted alignments.
Even with new cam bolts & nuts, he said I'd not leave his shop without a tack weld on them, too many returning customers having same problem.
Mine were tacked, & I never had an issue.

ok guys.
well its time to fix this right.

i temporarily added a second nut to each camber bolt for a quick fix.
now though with the weather being what it is i want to do this right.

i have searched around and i get the concept of the tack weld...i have one question though.

where do you tack it?

the nut to the camber washer?
camber washer to the frame?...cant be
the nut to the bolt itself?

i am guessing the nut to the bolt, but i couldnt find a pic of what was done.

thanks again guys.
