So how do I raise it. And is there anything really needed for the front?

If you remove those aluminum blocks it will lift the rear end of the truck back to factory height. You will probably need shorter ubolts as well (unless the threads on those go up far enough that you can just cut the excess threads off the bottom once tight) but I'd recommend getting new ones anyway.

as for the front, does it look like it was it lowered to match the rear? If so they could have just loosened the torsion bar adjustment bolts to drop it down some - or they may have installed torsion keys to lower it. Follow the torsion bar back from the lower control arm to the torsion bar crewmember on the frame. See if the keys on the end if the bar look new, and see how tight/loose the adjustment bolts are (or if they've been removed entirely) maybe post some pics so we can help you figure it out.
*keep In mind once you play with these adjustment bolts you will need an alignment, and also both sides need to be adjusted evenly*

is your goal just to put it back to factory height? Or are you trying to lift it even further?

Sorry. The photos are of a wreçked one I purchased. Mine is factory. I was interested in raising mine, but I know nothing about nothing. Lol. I'm smart enough to install said U bolts and blocks in rear, but what, if anything is needed for front.

Thats lowered, and missing the upper control arms.

If you want lift, theres cheap kits you can get, shackles and torsionkeys.

But you would want to do more so you not swapping out parts every six months. As in looking into a 2.5 lift kit, got mine at rough country. Easy enough to do over the weekend. Would search it up before diving into it.

Just to reiterate, installing those blocks would NOT lift the rear end it would lower it. Also, that front suspension pic is of a 2wd, is that what you have? Let's start fresh here and only talk about the actual truck you are trying to lift.

what year truck is yours? 4wd or 2wd? 2 door or 4 door?

They are both 89 s10 blazers. 2 door 2WD.

I took the upper control arms off for mine, that's when I noticed the blocks. Took the interior and display too.

so for the 2wd you have a couple options to lift, depending on how much you're trying to go..In the front you can use either lift coil springs or lift spindles. I. The rear you could do an add-a-leaf or lift shackles. You can find kits that will come with combinations of those options it really depends on what you're looking for.

how much lift are you trying to get? And do you want to keep a more factory feeling ride?

I was just hoping to use the parts I had. Thanks for all the support. You guys rock. No, not a digital display, but one that worked. So, on another note, I'm rekeying my doors and tailgate locks. Have a bunch of extra cylinders with tumblers, but can't figure out how the hell to get the cap off.
