Lifting Xtreme? Worth it??

I have a 2004 Chevy Xtreme. It is lowered on 20 inch rims. I was thinking of lifting it. Nothing crazy, just enough to make the ride smoother. I am thinking maybe 235/70/r15 tires on black crager rims. How much would be involved in this? Would a 2.5 in RC lift do the trick? I am currently looking into how these trucks are lowered from the factory. Would this be as simple as a lift kit, or would it be much more labor intensive?

I'm usually of the "it's your truck do what you want" mindset... but please please please don't lift an extreme. I would love to have one to have both ends of the blazer spectrum.

To answer your question, no the RC 2.5 won't work on it, it's for torsion bar suspensions. Other non 4x4 lifts would likely work, but I'm not 100% on it.

Google 2004 blazer 2dw lift kits. It'll probably involve tubular upper control arms (best idea ever! lol) spring spacers, shackles for the rear etc.
But as Jarad/Jamaroon said to each their own.
I'd like an extreme to toss a 5.3L or wynjammer etc in hehehehe.

I had no idea so many people were against lifting an xtreme, lol. I would love to keep this truck as is, but it's tough sometimes. My other truck is in build mode right now and not quite road worthy.

Ill betcha if you put the old stock springs from someone who has lowered their s10 or blazer 2wd non-xtreme, you would get what you desire.

there is prolly tons of guys around that have their old front coils and shocks sitting in a garage somewhere.

when we did my kid brothers 01 dime, we installed front coils, and rear leaf spring packs. I asked him and he junked the old stuff, cant help ya there.
