Welcome to the forum!

If you want to go cheap...add a 2" body lift and find a bumper-thumper on craigslist. If you have any fab skills at all, you can make it work. Or...for the brush guard...find a local highschool kid in shop class...they would love to build you a custom guard for the price of materials. Talk to the ag/shop teacher...they like the kids to get some experience, and will facilitate the creation of your beast.

The body lift takes about a 12 pack to install...I don't have a calculator with me, but you get the idea.

Where in the flat-lands are ya?

Very cool...I love visiting that part of our great state. There is one kid that has the ability, and aptitude...he'll be in the ag class. Talk to the ag teacher about your project...or let me know what town you're in, and I will get in touch with them. I'm a teacher, so it won't be too weird, lol. I hear the RC lift is decent...and from what I've read, ball joint wear is about the same as stock. If my guy here hadn't shipped off to the air force, I'd see what we could do here.
