Need advice lifting a 1996 2door please!
 

So I came across this 1999 Blazer on craigslist today which is being parted out.
99 chevy s10 blazer 4x4 parting out
The guy says it has a 5 inch rough country lift and 3 inch body lift.
He told me he would sell both lifts to me cheap. Plus the wheels and tires along with other miscellaneous parts. My question is, Will these lifts fit my 1996 2door 4x4 5speed? If so, would any thing need fabricated or drastically altered. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I would be weary of that, if you look at the last picture the front tire has a severe pitch, the suspension lift might have been damaged in what looks like an accident, and I do believe that it would be different for your '96 not positive though. Also i know that a 3" was never made for the second gen S10's, some guys have them and say they are a major PITA so I might pass that up also.

I'm glad you noticed that tire. I asked about the tire and apparently some front end parts got "tweaked." don't particularly feel like messing with that. However if someone thinks they can salvage the lifts, he's asking 250 for both. That's a steal if it was straight. I know suspension lifts can run > $1500

No problem, its definitely a good price considering the 5 inch suspension lift is, like you said, 1500 or more but, being that there is damage i would probably pass that up too. The route a lot of people, as well as my self, have gone or are going is to get the 2" body lift which is under 200 and then just 2" shackels and 1.5" Tbar. Which from what I understand will easily fit 31's

If you search in the lifting section there is a very good thread about the Tbar crank as well as the shackle lift. The body lift can be found at ebay, amazon, jc whitney, jegs, summit, or the manufacturers website, Performance accessories. There are a lot of people with more knowledge than myself so I would highly recommend searching, and that is one of the most common lift set ups on here so you should find it easily.
