Need help with shackle lift

Hi, I am a first time truck owner and I have decided to do a shackle lift. Besides new torsion keys what else is needed to complete this lift? Is there any wires to extend or do I just install the parts and drive? Besides raising the center of gravity will it alter the handling characteristics? Thanks in advance :)

I did my shackle lift this past weekend on my 2wd Blazer. I didn't have to extend any lines but my shocks are close to, if not, fully extended so it has a stiffer ride due to that, but I haven't noticed any other handling changes.

Oh, and it took my dad and me about 12 hours over two days with a torch, hacksaw, hammer, and crowbars to get all of it apart and back together. It was a HUGE pita! But I like the way it looks with the lift so it was worth it.

Just did my rough country install too day, took about an hour do do the rear, had to loosen the gas tank straps to slip the top shackle bolts out. It's an 05 jimmy so I'm not sure if it's different for other years/models.
