I put a 6" suspension lift on my 85' K5 last Saturday. Here's a before and after pic. Now I need bigger tires!

I would have to bump up the rear so it was level, but looks like some good clearance for some new meats!

It's sits pretty level.
But now that you mention it... I can remember back to the 80's when everyone drove around with 10"-12" lifts and 38"-44" tires on straight axle full size trucks. A slight nose up / rear squat was the look everyone would want. Not really sure why that was but it was popular.

keep in mind to measure before you bump up the rear end. The fenders are not cut level with the front and rear. so a bit of an optical illusion.
