SAS leaf spring question

First off I have used the search like a mad man but to no avail. Anyways my question is can I use the rear leaf springs out of a 94 jeep Cherokee for my SAS project or should I stick with some Dakota springs? I assume they would be around the correct spring rate for a decent ride. Thanks for any help.

Never heard of anyone using cherokee leafs up front for a SAS. Most people I know use Wagoneer front springs or Dakota rears up front...

Ya I found out the weight limit between them. The Cherokee springs are about 400 pounds lighter than the Dakota which are around 1100#. I think I'll just go with some Dakota ones.
