sas question
I was wondering if I do the dana30 swap do I need to also swap my back axle I found a front for only 100.

yes, different bolt pattern. ul need to go to a ford 8.8 or something with a 5 on 4.5 bolt pattern. your blazer is a 5 on 4.75 bolt pattern. or u can get wheel adapters that bolt onto your drums but then u have to find wheels to fit. or u can just put the dana30 in and have 2 different wheels.....lol

You can also make S10 wheel bearings work on the D30 axle to keep the 5x4.75 bolt pattern and ABS

Well I was just wondering if u could get a axle with same bolt patterns so I don't need to swap the rear every SAS swap I seen they swap the rear I'm just trying to spend less on it.

So what axle would have the same lug patterns unless I mix match for awhile.

there are no axles with the blazer bolt pattern, the only options are wheel adapters or using the s10 unit bearings

This was just a thought from the looks yes I'll be able to get bigger tires but my axle will still be down low might raise it a little. I can't really see a gain in it I got stuck on my axle the last time because I sunk in clay so I can't see the SAS helping, Thanks for all the replies might just get a body lift then late on just get a older truck already with a solid axle. ;)
