Torsion adjustment question
 

Sorry if this has been covered but ive been looking for 2 hours and Ive found nothing on it.

Ive come to the conclusion that Im going to need to lift my Blazer at least 2" asap after installing some new rims that were given to me. They have a 3.75" backspace and I used 1.25" adapters to make them fit. Ive got a nice wide stance like Ive wanted but my tires [30x9.5R15] do rub starting at only 3/4 of a turn of the wheel.

I KNOW I could cut but I dont want to and Ive been wanting a small lift anyways.

I already plan to get either Add a Leaf or Shackles to the rear and the advertise that they will lift between 1.5-2"

Im wondering this

Would it be better for my front end if I:
A. Crank the STOCK torsion bars/keys 1.5" to match the rear[assuming I only get 1.5" instead of 2"] and of course get the alignment after

OR

B. Install new keys that allow a lift range of 1-3" and only do about 1.5-2" on them

Basically im wondering if itll make a difference if I max out or nearly max out the stock keys or if its better to install new keys that allow up to 3 " but only do a maximum of 2" out of them since the rear is only getting lifted 2" max

Please dont suggest a body lift. I dont want one. I want more ground clearance as well as clearing my tires. I plan to stick with 30's as well

keys make no difference on front end stress. 1.5-2" on lift keys is just as bad as 1.5-2" on stock keys.

If you're only going for 2" you might as well get a body lift and not worry about the extra stress on all the suspension components.

30in tires will get you about 3/4 inch extra clearance.... maybe. Lifts dont do anything for rear end clearance.
