Torsion advice

Ive been searching through this forum about installing aftermarket torsion keys and it seems to be that the general opinion here is that the keys are a waste of time. I have a 97 4 door Jimmy. it is not street legal by far (i dont even have front brakes), i live on a farm and play around from time to time and take it to the deer lease. I have already cranked the stock keys up as far as they will go, and i have 33 12.50 15 tires on it, of course they didnt fit well but with a sawzall and sledge i got it to where it only rubs the frame when turning really hard and flexing. anyway i got a set of shakles and keys from a guy that had them on an s10. Ive already put the shakles on but if it truly is a waste of time then i dont want to go through the process of changing the keys out for no reason. I dont care about wearing out my ball joints and such. So I guess my question is, Is it a waste of time because im not going to have anymore height gain or a waste because of the wear on the front end??? thanks for any advice

Nate...
You might want to consider a set of zr2 torsion bars.
The bars are bigger in diameter that handle more weight
That means less suspension sag... I have a set on my 4
Door jimmy and it helped with the ride hight. Plus I dont have to
Tweek the bolts as much
