U-Bolt sizing for block lift?

I'm looking to get a 2 inch suspension lift (front torsion cranks/blocks in the rear) done on my '00 Jimmy 4-door. I need to buy new u-bolts that are 2 inches bigger than stock but I need help with sizing/shape (round or square). I want to purchase the exact u-bolts I need for the job. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

You should really look into this more! If you put blocks on your truck it will lower it due to being SUA.

do a spring over.

That will give him a whole lot more than the 2" he's looking for. Best just to do either shackles (seems to be most popular) or an AAL.

Tbar crank with shackles is your best bet... If he adds blocks he will get way more then 2 inches of lift....

The guy I found to do it says that the shackles should be left stock if blocks are added between the leafs and axle; he machines the blocks himself. He only charges $35 an hour which I think is pretty good.

Most of us use 2 inch lift shackles... BLocks only get used with the 5 and 6 inch lift kits.

OR a sas swap. Look around and youll see.

Not trying to be rude here but go ahead and pay the guy that doesn't know what he's doing to machine and install some blocks for your truck and then please come and tell us how much lift you get from it!! Seriously if you put blocks in the back of your blazer it will lower it!! The axle sits on top of the leaf spring therefore if you put a block between the axle and the spring it will raise the axle causing your truck to lower.

Blocks only lift the rear if the axle is under the springs.... SO you put the axle under the spring and then add the block to gain more lift. You will get way more then 2 inches going this way.

Instead with shackles you get exact 2 inches to match the 1.5 inch tbar crank up front.
